Seeking to enter a highly competitive market, ExxonMobil commissioned Max Jenvey with the task of conceiving and managing end-to-end, a new retail brand for the UK marketplace.
Solution
In developing the concept, we began with the customers and understanding what they wanted from a convenience store. We benchmarked closely
with our best-in-class competition. The top 3 customer needs for
foodservice were fresh, fast and friendly, so these became our values
and guiding principles.
Delivery
Jenvey implemented and launched a new global brand format - 'On the Run' in 2003.
The On the Run operation is a new and better kind of convenience store program. It is a world class destination retail offering designed to meet the changing needs of today's consumers.
Benefit
The brand achieved 45% profit uplift - delivering incremental revenue
generating in over 100 sites accross the UK. Oxxygen secured the
ongoing project and continues to support the brand rollout and
marketing development.
